  1. If there was ever and album which should have had Amazon's AutoRip, it would be this one. The vinyl version of this album is a very poor pressing. First off, the record had a slight edge-warp which could be heard. There is excessive surface noise in-between tracks and especially in quiet passages like the record was played with a damaged stylus/5().

  5. Many of our favorite vintage vinyl records feature creative art on the jackets that brings us back to the first time we listened to a favorite band. Even new artists often deliver special-edition vinyl LPs with unique art that make these records perfect for collectors of any genre.
  6. The album starts off strong with a dynamic “I Got a Woman” and a belted-out reworking of the Sun-era sex quest “Tryin’ to Get to You,” then closes with another pair of galloping ’50s.
  7. Feb 17,  · Much of the album seem to be B-side material, so I would go into it with that thought in mind. And let's be honest, most of this music, sans a few artists, are bands that basicaly mimic sounds and bands from the late 60's and 70's. And in the case of Sharon Jones, literally mimic 70's R&B radio fare/5(90).
